I can't find the chat you were talking about with HR.

I've found that caffeine, even in small amounts, sends me bouncing off the walls. Others may not have the same problem but for me, it's proven to be a no-no.
A little off subject. My Doctor said les then 5% but not knowing life styles. If you were to look into each life you would find another way the virus was transmitted.
There's no way in hell I will not drink coffee in the morning. A few years ago i stopped for a few months and the morning were just not the same.
Drink your cup of java in the morning,,,just don't drink too much or you will be going to bathroom all day!
Well between juicing it and the possibility of a meteror,,,,that could be disaterous! Don't worry,,,if something should happen,,,I will personally pop a mountain dew Rev,,,just for you!
I heard on an internet health show that it would take
20 cups of water to nullify the effects of one cup of
coffee. Keep a drinkin' lots of water!
Don't mess with Revenire and his coffee.
Actually, it's well known that coffee and ribavirin are a diuretic's which is defined as:
Etymology: Middle English duretik, diuretic, from Late Latin diureticus, from Greek diourEtikos, from diourein to urinate, from dia- + ourein to urinate -- more at URINE
: tending to increase the excretion of urine <diuretic drugs>

Actually a friend recently saw a specialist who said her high consumption of coffee is probably why she has no liver damage. My question was whether there is some kind of reaction between coffee and riba. As to who told me, if I don't write it down, I don't remember it. Even then I have to remember where I wrote it:)
as many times as I have posted this url here, and no one seems to read, so I will post the paragraph AND the url.
"For example, many fruits and vegetables
I think maybe because the riba mixed with coffee can make you more jittery, and hyped, than with either alone, I know I had to watch it and only drink one cup in the morning with the riba before i went to work...
Hepatitisresearcher has been looking for you (see thread below with your name in the title). He wants to know the status of your Alinia experient and if you've taken a 4-week PCR. A lot of us here are likewise interested, so please open a new thread at the top and update us.
I'm not seeing that your studies address HCV patients who are receiving treatment, by the way....
I began my treatment before the studies came out. My doctor might not give the same advice today that he gave me in July...
thanks, I don't drink a huge amount and I drink lots of water as it is. I'll stick to my cup o joe in the morning.
I have a morning cup and an evening cup, and I became UND at 4 weeks (genoype B). The warning about caffeine has to do with the theory that it can dehydrate the body, and we need to keep well-hydrated during treatment. Since I drink a lot of water, and didn't want to give up the pleasure of coffee, I decided to continue drinking it. (smallish cups---not huge mugs)
Others are probably more careful about following "doctor's orders", especially if they have serious liver damage, but I just haven't been concerned about my relatively small intake of coffee...
